Sikélios is a sweet wine whose production follows an ancient Sicilian tradition, whereby the grapes are carefully dried out in the sun. Holding an intense aroma and spicy flavours that bounce between licorice and thyme, Sikélios’ velvety and harmonious nature leaves a sensation of unforgettable sweetness to the palate.Pairings: It is a meditation wine and excellent companion for particular desserts, more specifically, our traditional Sicilian pastry. It also pairs well with dark chocolate and aged spiced cheeses.

Vinification and Ageing: After carefully selecting the best bunches,the grapes are dried outside on racks for about 30 days. Ageing takes place in French oak barriques for 12 months. After bottling, the wine remains in the bottle for at least 6 months.
Organoleptic Data: ruby red colour with orange reflections, the aroma is very intense, with notes of jam, chestnut honey, cardamom and licorice; the taste is sweet but not cloying with velvety tannins and great persistence.
