Orpheus is a bright red wine, with a complex aroma that bounces between fruity and spicy notes. With flavours reminiscent of liquor cherries, the taste is known to pleasantly linger, characterized by good tannins and supported by an excellent base structure.Pairings: Meat or mushroom based first courses, baked or grilled red meat based second courses and/or medium-seasoned cheeses.

Vinification and Ageing: Traditional red wine vinification carried out in steel vats at a controlled Temperature (25-30°C). The alcoholic fermentation is carried out using carefully selected indigenous yeasts. Maceration is managed with periodic punching down through a special mechanical device placed inside the tank. The duration of the maceration is 8-10 days. The refinement takes place in French oak barrels with a capacity of between 30 and 50 hl for 15-20 months. After bottling, the wine remains in the bottle for at least 18 months.
Organoleptic Data: ruby red colour; the aroma is complex characterized by notes of cherry and sweet spices; the taste is quite rich, with the right balance between acidity and tannins.
